The Anchor
WEAU
Shifting To News
Coming back to my hometown in 2015, the trick was to take all of my experience in anchoring sports and shift it into anchoring news. Thankfully, I was able to accomplish this and show my family and friends what I’ve been able to do.
I’m proud to say that, while I was at WEAU, I was the only person at the station to have anchored and produced every newscast that was put on the air.

Back In The Saddle
In 2014, it was time to shake the rust off and get back to the profession I’ve always loved. This took me back out west - to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
There’s not much from my time there, but here’s one sportscast to give you a taste of my performance.
KUSA
Call Me “Mr. Prep”
For anyone who’s ever anchored anything for KUSA in Denver, they’ll tell you that it feels a bit like hallowed ground. In 2008, I shifted to anchoring the “Prep Rally” on the 9NEWS weekend morning newscast. It remains one of the greatest thrills I’ve ever had in this line of work.
NOTE: The video was uploaded as a 4x3 and may look a bit off. This was material from 2007-2011, after all - when mastodon roamed this planet.
